Tic-Tac-Toe

This project represents basic user functionality for a website that communicates with a database through an API. I sought out to create a fun and nostalgic Tic-Tac-Toe game where users may sign in to record and access their game data, as well as play a friend in a good old fashioned game of Tic-Tac-Toe. In doing so, I tried to recreate the game using the classic 8-bit aesthtic of early gameboy and Pokemon.

Dream Log App

This project represents basic user functionality for a website that communicates with a database through an API. I sought out to create a dream-log app where users could CRUD and view other user's posts. Users may only delete and edit their own posts. During this project I used Javascript and jQuerey to create the front-end, HTML5 as the basic framework and template for the website, and AJAX to send requests, via the express API, to a Mongodb data base containing user and dream data. I used express and mongoose to create the API. I then deployed the database by ussing and connecting Heroku. Finally I used CSS for styling. I also used Bootstrap for much of the styling and icons.

Forum and Message Board

"Not A Tourist" is a site where users can select a city or the general topics section, and CRUD posts in the form of text or text with picture (uploaded with AWS). Once created, original creators of posts can update or delete their posts. All users may then comment on available posts or delete their comments. User's may also upvote posts. Ideally, users will post lists and information regarding travel to a particular city of choice. This app was built with React, Bootstrap, Express, CSS, HTML, node.js, Heroku, Mongodb, AWS, and mongoose.

Hacker News Search App

Using the https://hn.algolia.com/api, I re-created Hacker News using Javascript and React. Users will arrive at the landing "About" page and be able to navigate to /search or /history pages. In /search, users will be able to search by title, comments, or author using a search bar. They may also refine their search by time (all time, last 24 hrs, or last year) as well as sort their search by date or popularity. Users may then navigate to the history tab where they may see their previous searches from the session and clear search results if they wish.

GACT ERC20 TOKEN

For this project I used solidity to develop a smart contract that minted 10 trillion ERC20 tokens to the contract creator on the Ropsten Ethereum Test Network. I used ganache to test the contact migration, and then migrated the contract to the test network using Truffle, HDWallet, Infura, and MetaMask. The token also incorparates many built in features from the openzeppelin simple token. I had an amazing time creating this token. Custom NFT ERC-721 smart contract for a seven piece NFT collection that is fully functional on the OpenSea market place. The contract was created with Solidity, JavaScript, deployed with truffle, Infura, OpenZeppelin, and uses the latest up to date and secure standards available to the web3 community. This NFT smart contract is fully functional and secure, as well as verified on Polyscan.
